You can create footer either by using Widgets or by using WPBakery Page Builder. If you choose 'Default Footer', then you can manage footer by using Widgets from 'Appearance > Widgets'. If you choose 'Custom Footer', then you can manage footer by using WPBakery Page Builder by navigating 'Custom Footers'.
If you choose 'Default Footer', then you can manage footer background and copyright section from 'Footer Default Settings' from where you can manage both your 'Widgets Block' and 'Copyright Block'.

Footer Widget section is coming through widgets and you can setup widgets from 'Appearance > Widgets'. Out of all the sidebars, "Footer | #1", "Footer | #2", "Footer | #3", "Footer | #4" are used for the Footer.
You can use any widget from the ‘Available Widgets’ section and drag those widgets to “Footer | #1” to “Footer | #4” or click on the widgets from the ‘Available Widgets’ section and then select the desired location.

If you want to change the footer section from four columns to three columns, use three sidebars from "Footer | #1" to "Footer | #4"; similarly if you want two columns, use two sidebars from "Footer | #1" to "Footer | #4" and if you want 1 column, use one sidebar from "Footer | #1" to "Footer | #4".
So, each sidebar from "Footer | #1" to "Footer | #4" represents a column.
If you choose 'Custom Footer' on 'Theme Options > Footer > Footer Style', then you can choose footer style from 'Theme Options > Footer > Custom Footer Settings > Custom Footer' as per below screenshot:-

'Custom Footer' styles are coming from 'Custom Footers > All Footer' (See below screenshot:-Figure -5) . You can edit those through 'WP Bakery Page Builder'. You can add a new footer style from 'Custom Footers > Add New'. Once you'll create a new style, that style will be automatically added on 'Theme Options > Footer > Custom Footer Settings > Custom Footer' (Check Figure -4).

To get the common footer for all pages, make sure that 'Default Footer' option is selected for 'Select Custom Footer' section on all pages.
