How to set different short header for a page

Point to note: Depending on your purchased theme, screenshots can vary.

By-default, short header functions from Theme Options -> Header -> Short Header for all pages.

Depending on your purchased theme, theme options style can vary but overall style selection window will look like this:-

In above example, 'Banner Only' was selected. This means only banner would appear for short header on ALL PAGES of your site.

Now, sometimes we receive requests from buyers where they want to show different short header style for different pages. So we have come up with this option where you can display a different short header style for a particular page.

For example, if you want to display a different short header style for about page then go to Pages -> Select a page ->Edit . In below example about page was chosen.

On next screen, scroll down a bit and you'll see a section to choose short header styles. Refer to the screenshot below. Now, you have a new short header style for your about page. You can now select any short header type and save the page. Now, you have a new short header style for your about page. You can do same for other pages also.

Point to note: You need to choose any short header style except the 'DEFAULT' option. ‘DEFAULT’ is the current short header style of ‘Theme Options > Header > Short Header > Select Short Header’ (Figure -1) which is common for all pages. For example, if you select ‘Banner Only’ from ‘Theme Options > Header > Short Header > Select Short Header’ (Figure -1) and ‘DEFAULT' from any specific page, then ‘Banner Only’ would run on that page. So, if you want a different short header for any specific page, then select any short header style except the ‘DEFAULT’ one from that page.

Point to note: When you select any short header style except 'DEFAULT'  from PAGE LEVEL (the process mentioned above) then it supersede the option you have chosen from Theme Options -> Short Header (Figure -1).
