Point to note: Depending on your purchased theme, screenshots can vary.
By-default, header functions from Theme Options -> Header for all pages.
Figure -1
In above example, Style eight was selected. This means Style eight header would appear on ALL PAGES of your site.
Now, sometimes we receive requests from buyers where they want to show different header style (for menu or appearance) for different pages. So we have come up with this option where you can display a different header style for a particular page.
For example, if you want to display a different header style for about page then go to Pages -> Select a page ->Edit . In below example about page was chosen.
Figure -2
On next screen, scroll down a bit and you'll see a section to choose header styles. Refer to the screenshot below. From those thumbnails you can get some idea about the style. You can now select any header type and save the page. Now, you have a new header style for your about page. You can do same for other pages also.
Point to note: You need to choose any header style except the 'DEFAULT' option. ‘DEFAULT’ is the current header style of ‘Theme Options > Header > Header Style’ (Figure -1) which is common for all pages. For example, if you select header ‘Style One’ from ‘Theme Options > Header > Header Style’ (Figure -1) and ‘DEFAULT' from any specific page, then header ‘Style One’ would run on that page. So, if you want a different header for any specific page, then select any header style except the ‘DEFAULT’ one from that page.
Settings will run from 'Theme Options'. For example, if you select header 'Style One', then you can change settings for that header from 'Theme Options > Header > General > Header One Settings' and so on.
Figure -3
Point to note: When you select a header style from PAGE LEVEL (the process mentioned above) then it supersede the option you have chosen from Theme Options -> Header (Figure -1). This header style would be visible for about page (just an example as illustrated above) only. Rest of the pages would have same header style eight.
If you don't want different types of header for any specific page then you don't need to make any change from page editing screen. Whatever style you are going to select from Theme Options ->Header would be visible for all pages of your site.
